No, it can't be shared with the world in the same way that an internet film can — but then, is sharing with the world all it's cracked up to be? Does 1 million hits equal 1 million interested viewers, or 10 interested viewers, 100 mildly intrigued viewers, and a host of others looking for LolCats & pron? At least the few hundred who turned up to LARP genuinely want to be there, and are looking to absorb the full experience.

I want to say it was David Brinkly that basically said even if the world isn't ending, we'll report it like it is. Often times, the news media lacks historical context (There memories only go back to the 1930s) and leave out the economic blow ups of late 1700s, 1819 (if I remember correctly), and 1837, all of which are more relevant to today's economic more so than the '80s and '30s. God almight I get so sick of the doom peddlers of MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, CNBC, ABC, NBC, and C-BS.
