Hiya Mr C

I might have known you'd plug the Gamers. ;)

I'm mildly suprised you didn't mention your other amateur dramatic exploits. I'm thinking of LARP in particular, which requires almost as much effort on the writing, directing and special effects side, as film making does. Tho if memory serves you've also written one or two theatrical works . . . ;)

No, it can't be shared with the world in the same way that an internet film can - but then, is sharing with the world all it's cracked up to be? Does 1 million hits equal 1 million interested viewers, or 10 interested viewers, 100 mildly intrigued viewers, and a host of others looking for LolCats & pron? At least the few hundred who turned up to LARP genuinely want to be there, and are looking to absorb the full experience.

It's all about the audience! Bums on seats or bums in faux medieval garb, whichever . . .

As always, entertianing as crack. The Call of Cthulhu was truly wonderful movie, all H. P. Lovecraft fans need to see that.

I want to say it was David Brinkly that basically said even if the world isn't ending, we'll report it like it is. Often times, the news media lacks historical context (There memories only go back to the 1930s) and leave out the economic blow ups of late 1700s, 1819 (if I remember correctly), and 1837, all of which are more relevant to today's economic more so than the '80s and '30s. God almight I get so sick of the doom peddlers of MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, CNBC, ABC, NBC, and C-BS.

Also as a journalism student, I have to say, the job requires little to no intelligence, I pretty much had the profession nailed down once I showed up and was above room temp.
