This series has completely ensnared me. Now I can't think about a insect without imagining what sort of kinden it would have. Now, when I think of ladybugs, ladybirds to you in the U.K., I don't think of a small beetle with a red and black shell but a cannibalistic pygmy. When I think stinkbug I see a man who can spray toxic fumes from his body, when I think tick i see a person who can use his art to expand his body to giant proportions. And when I think shrimp(or lobster, or crab), I think, what's taking book 6 so long to get here.

Reply @ Bill Edwards — I have no real control over this but you're not the only person to mention it. What I'll do is drop a like to Pyr, the US publishers, who presumably have US electronic rights as well (I think) and see what I can find out. Don't see why there won't be a US book 4 on kindle soon.

Update to my post above:

The iPhone Kindle edition of "Salute the Dark" is not available to US residents, but it *is* available to UK residents. So if your Kindle account place of residence is not set to the United Kingdom, you may not be able to purchase the book at this time via iPhone Kindle. (It's not clear how this pans out for people with Kindle accounts designating their place of residence being someplace other than the US or UK.)

Hello Adrian,

I refer to Sam Mason's 12 August 2010 post above. As of today, "Salute the Dark" is sadly still unavailable for the iPhone Kindle edition, although Books 1–3 and 5 are available. I frequently work outside the U.S., so I rely on iPhone Kindle to procure your books.

The above issue seems odd for several reasons: (1) the books before and after it are available; (2) the title shows as available for Kindle when I search on my PC; and (3) when I search the title on the iPhone Kindle edition, I get a single link, but for Book 5 instead (The Scarab Path).

Could you please shed light on the situation if possible; thanks. I have spoken to Amazon about this and been told it should be available and they have no further information. Like speaking to a brick wall.

I do love your books but until this issue is resolved I won't be able to continue reading them.
