Still waiting, they tell me september 1st, the wait is starting to get to me, I keep hearing spoiler alerets, and I would like to just do away with them and read the book for myself. hopefully this week, I will get my copy.

I don't think there's a special Canadian edition so if you get the UK editions, it should be out start August just as it is over here. If you're reliant on the US editions, Pyr hasn't picked up Scarab Path yet, so no definite dates.

There are some very important Fly-kinden individuals — Taki from Blood of the Mantis, and a whole boatload of them in one of the later books. Because of the somewhat parasitic and derivative nature of their culture, they are not really a serious political force, at all.
