Autotrumpetry: Signature Tunes
First of all I abjure, conjure and invoke you to go out and buy the Feb/March issue (issue 17) of the magazine Death Ray, for therein I have an article. Look at me the serious journalist.

Bring your friends, bring your enemies, bring generous-minded literary critics!
To pay off my karmic debt for all this navel-gazing I also note that Frances Hardinge's new book, Gullstruck Island is out. I've previously waxed rhapsodic about her Fly-by-Night, and I look forward to getting to grips with this one. Also, the cover's all over beetles, which is always a Good Thing.
(1) Part 2 should be in August for Blood of the Mantis
(2) By which I mean books written by, not some weird cloning shenanigans.
I'm really looking forward to Dragonfly. I live in Brazil, and my school classes wil begin next week, and I must say that I'm even looking forward to it, for the sooner it begins the sooner Dragonfly is released and the sooner can I wait two to three weeks until amazon delivers it here. Yay!
Seriously now, I hope the second book is even better than the first one, which I believe it will be, and that you sell enough to a) live very well without another job and b) write/publish more shadows of the apt novels (good ones, not just a some sequels made to sell, without any of the marvellous and appealing characteristics the original novels had, such as worldbuilding, beautiful fighting description and some concepts which are very tasty food for thought). I think I'm sort of ranting because my head feels light headed… I've gotten a little chubbier lately and was exercising after three months without doing any serious physical exercise. My body was not as fit as it used to be… Oh, there I go again…
Have a very self-rewarding and sucessful writing career!
P.S. Really wish I could meet you and have my book signed, probably with an "I'm a big fan" stupid smile on my face… By the way, I have no idea what you look like, but I have to say you look sort of insect-ish and have a beard in my mind…
