I'm always a fan of evolutionary boardgames. There are a few really good ones out there. Always keen to see more.
There are indeed. Evolution is a favourite! I'm imagining this as a mixture of planet building and life form evolution. Doesn't sound as exciting on paper as it does in my head though. Ah well, like thousands of other people, the scribblings on the inside of my brain will probably never see the light of day. Mind you, with all the extra time on our hands currently, I think my partner may actually have a prototype before long! I wouldn't want to plagiarise your lifeforms but it would be awesome to use them as a basis for others, if that's not crossing the creative ownership line?

Finally gotten round to reading Doors of Eden and loving it. It's been on my list for a while. As fab as the story is, the bits i'm loving the most are the excerpts from Other Edens. Such a fascinating imagination of other evolutionary tracts the planet could have gone down had there been a slightly different balance of chemicals in the seas or atmosphere or a myriad of other tipping points. It's making me want to design a board game based on the concept, hmmm. :D.
